I started reading The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig, and I'm kind of disappointed. All of the reviews and recommendations that I have seen of it so far have all been good, but I am not very happy with it so far. The plot is slow and predictable, the main characters are not very good, and the romance aspect of it seems slapped on as an afterthought. One positive thing about it, though, is the sentence structure and vocabulary. It has many great words such as "pearlescent" and "beleaguered".

For my book project me and my partner are reading a book by John Green. Her, Turtles All The Way Down, and me The Fault In Our Stars. They do seem to have some similarities, such as both featuring a female main character overcoming health problems, (whether mental or physical). They also both take strong ties from his life

The last thing is how I use book likes to find books. I often go to my dashboard and look at what others that I follow are reading. Also, if I search up a book to add to my shelf often look at other books by that author.
